Ruth Ann Byler, 71, of Quarryville, went to be with her loving Shephard and Savior on May 1, 2025. She was born on April 6, 1954 to the late Earl and Ida Byler. At age 17, she began teaching school and taught for 17 years. She then moved on to schooling for an LPN nurses’ degree to become a caregiver. She lovingly cared for special needs and handicapped children. In 2017, she suffered a stroke. At the time of her death, she was living at West Willow Nursing Home, Willow Street where she received excellent care.
Surviving are 3 brothers; David (Mary), Paul (Darlene), Lester (Jean) Byler, 3 sisters; Mary Jane (Ben) Schrock, Barbara (Menno) Wagler, Martha (John) Byler. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Rhoda (Paul) Brenneman, Anna Mae Byler, 1 nephew and 1 great nephew.
A memorial service will be held at Blue Rock Mennonite Church, Lancaster at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Funeral services will be held at Calvary Christian Fellowship Church in Cottage Grove, TN, at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 9, 2025. Viewing before the funeral service begins at 9:00 AM. Interment in New Boston Cemetery, Cottage Grove, TN.
