Ruth Crider

Ruth Ann Crider passed away suddenly and peacefully on March 11, 2026. She was born and raised in Concord, Michigan, where she spent much of her life surrounded by family and friends.

In 1958, Ruth married the love of her life, Thurman Crider, and together they built a life centered on family and love. They shared many years together until his passing in 2017.

She is survived by her loving children, Scott (Gail) Crider, Timothy Crider, and Jana (Lewis) Herrera. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Anthony and Alaina Forcier, Tricia Crider, Steven and Katlyne Tyler, Cross Herrera, Lucas Tyler, and Garrett Tyler; as well as her beloved great-grandchildren, Kaylee Adams, Edan Mast, Chase Forcier, Kamdan Mast, Annabelle Mast, Brynnlee Tyler, Brayleigh Tyler, and Austin Tyler.

Ruth will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the many memories she shared with them throughout her life. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 9:00 AM until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 AM at Lauer Family Funeral Home in Concord.
