Starr Clark Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lauer Family Funeral Homes - Concord on Feb. 18, 2026.
Starr Douglas Clark, age 83, of Concord, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, with his loving family by his side.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Judy Clark; his sister, Gathel Vinton; and his brother, Lester Clark.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Scott Clark; his parents, Ralph and Mae (Singer) Clark; and his sisters, Clara Miller and Deanna Natschke.

Starr was a man of strong moral character who lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and love for his family. He took great pride in keeping his lawn perfectly maintained and could often be found in his shop, surrounded by his tools, happily working on one project or another.

An avid sports enthusiast, Starr especially loved his local teams including the University of Michigan, the Detroit Lions, and the Detroit Tigers. More than anything, however, he loved supporting his son. He never missed a single sporting event Scott participated in and even coached summer league baseball alongside him for four years, creating memories he cherished throughout his life.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Lauer Family Funeral Home in Concord, officiated by his nephew, Dustin Hamilton.

Memorial contributions in Starr's honor may be made to the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home.
