Ruth A. Draher

Ruth A. Draher, 87, of Dover, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Park Village Health Care Center in Dover.
Born on November 9, 1938, in Stone Creek, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Hazel (Wassem) Kugler. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Don Draher, who died on January 16, 2007; her brothers, Wayne and Ray Kugler; and her sisters, Marie Koontz and Donna Rummell.
She spent her life as a dedicated homemaker, where she took particular pride in cooking, baking, gardening, canning, and tending to her flower gardens. In earlier years, she served as treasurer of the Tusky Valley Booster Club and was a member of the Fairfield Township Ladies Auxiliary.
Ruth is survived by her children, Richard Draher (Melanie Wilson) of Urbana, Ronald Draher, Diane Miller both of Dover, Doug Draher of Fairlawn; former son in law, Steve Miller of Dover; grandchildren, Tyler and Ethan Miller.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 3rd starting at 1:30 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. David Wing officiating. Interment will be at the Stone Creek Cemetery. The family will be greeting friends on Tuesday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
