Ruth Ann Goerge

Ruth Ann Goerge, age 72, a resident of Rochester Hills, Michigan, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022, in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Ruth Ann was born on September 10, 1950, in Fowler, Michigan. After graduating high school, she continued her education at Eastern Michigan University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Ruth went on to work for over 40 years with the Department of Defense as Supervisor in Auditing for the US Army. After retirement, she volunteered her time and talents at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, working funeral luncheons, parish festivals, and singing in the community chorus. Ruth Ann sang for almost 50 years with the Sweet Adelines Chorus-Great Lakes and the newly formed Motor City Blend a Barbershop Chorus. As a member, she was able to travel and perform around the world and have a wonderful group o life long friends and singing sisters. Ruth Ann had a very deep faith her entire life, raised Catholic. As as a child and young adult where she was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in the small farming community of Fowler, Michigan, and later became an active member at St. Lawrence Catholic in Utica, Michigan. Ruth Ann was a helpful neighbor and friend, always running errands, delivering food, and traveling to Dr. appointments, she knew most of her neighbors. A kind and caring sister, aunt, and daughter, she would care for her mother until her passing. As a child, her brother gave her the nickname "Chico", which carried on throughout the family. A faithful daughter of God, lived her life as a willing servant, faithful, loved others, and her faith was with her entire life.
Loving daughter of the late Vincent and Josephine (nee Todd) Goerge, Dearest sister of the late Mary (Richard) Campbell, Louis Goerge, Phyllis Hall, and Robert (Roberta) Goerge. Dear aunt of her survivors Rebecca Duffy, Sandi Miller, Karen Bakos, Kathleen Miccoli, Julianne Hall, Kevin Campbell, Richard Goerge, and Michael Hall.
Instate 9:30am on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church 44633 Utica Road Utica until time of mass 10:00 am.
Interment Most Holy Trinity Cemetery Fowler, Michigan
