Ruth Housman Obituary
Ruth Clara Housman age 88 of Boones Mill passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 20, 1936 a daughter of the late Samuel and Josie Bowyer White. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Buford A. White; son-in-law, Douglas Finnigan; and brothers-in-law, Wayne Wright and Jim Slusher.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Housman; children, Roy Housman, Jr., Sarah Finnigan and Danny Housman (Donna); six grandchildren; her sisters, Margie Wright, Lavonia Moles (George), Barbara Slusher and Phyllis Carroll. She is also survived her sister-in-law, Louise White and other family, friends and neighbors.
Graveside services will be conducted 2 PM Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Franklin Memorial Park with Pastor Bud Nichols officiating. There will not be a visitation.
