It was an honor to know Ruth Lucardi, when I was first moved to Dartmouth I did not know many people from town. Ruth invited me to join POND and kept me updated on events that affected North Dartmouth. Under her leadership POND was an avenue to better know your neighbor and get involved in your town.
She initiated the first Clean Up days over 20 years ago to spruce up our town in the Spring. A few times over the past few years I would pop in while walking just to say hello. Ruth always invited me in for tea and was very sharp on current events. She was a treasure and my heartfelt sympathies to Al and their son. Theresa "Terry" Brum

I was so sorry to hear about the death of your mom. I'm sure her example led you to be the special person that you are.

Ruth was a great lady! Her dedication to Dartmouth and its environment is a legacy for all to follow. I am saddened to hear about her passing, but very grateful to have known her for these many years. I am a better person for it. My and my family's sympathies are with you at this time of your loss.

Mrs. Lucardi was a truly wonderful person and neighbor who cared deeply for the town of Dartmouth and its conservation. I will remember her fondly. My condolences to her family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
