Ruth Ann Morse Miller was born April 2, 1937 in Logan, Utah. She was the third out of four children born of Blaine and Betty Hoffman Morse. Ruth Ann attended Elementary school in Price and Tremonton, Utah. She moved many times due to her father's job. Ruth Anne made many friends wherever she went despite having to make new ones every time she moved, but her first and best friends were her sisters whom she loved very much. Growing up, Ruth Ann and her family had many picnics, worked in the garden, and went skiing, sledding and had many family outings with other families. She graduated from Logan Junior High and Logan High School.
Ruth Ann Married Ray Lewis Miller on June 27, 1955 in the Logan, Utah Temple, with a reception in the yard of the Morse's home celebrated with many friends and family. The couple then moved to Westchester, Ca. There, their son Scott Lewis Miller was born.
In 1958 Ruth and family moved back to Hyrum, Utah where they built their home. There, they added Daughter Julie Ann and Curtis Blaine Miller to the family.
Ruth served on many boards and organizations, including Cache Valley Community. She served on the Hyrum City Council from 1979 – 1986. Ruth was awarded appreciation from County Council Women for outstanding service to the citizens of Cache County and the Republican Party.
Ruth Anne and Ray and family were faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In 2000 Ruth and Ray were asked to be Missionaries at the Joseph Smith Building on the 6th Floor. They served there from 2002-2003. It was a very special opportunity for the both.
Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her sisters Betty Jean, Barbara, and Parents, Grandson; Ryan Miller.
She loved all her family and friends in Hyrum.
