Ruth Parr Obituary
Ruth Ann Parr, 67 of Lewiston, Michigan died at Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord on December 7, 2025. She was born on March 30, 1958 to William “Bill” George and Margaret “Peggy” Ann (Nau) Hudson in Tawas City, Michigan. She married Paul Thomas Parr on February 25, 1986 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and together they celebrated 39 years of marriage before her passing. Ruth worked at Kewadin Casino in the change department and at Midjim Store. She loved flower gardens, reading romance novels, fishing, hunting, walking the shore of Lake Superior, Clyde’s Drive Inn and watching the shops from Rotary Park.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Paul; sons, Michael (Stacy) Miller, Wayne Switalski, James (Aimee) Miller; daughters, Misty (JJ) Rose, Christal Jozwiak, Jessy (David) Corry; grandchildren, Bryce (Emily Hall) Fritz, Alyx Fritz, Dylan Fritz, Haylei (Jacob Gardner) Fritz, Aryonna Heit, Breann and Ethan Miller, Natalie Switalski , Maximillian Corry; two great-grandchildren, Whaylen Fritz and Ezra Hall; parents, William and Peggy Hudson; and many loving family members. She was preceded in death by several siblings and granddaughter, Isabella Switalski.
As were her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life held in Ruth’s honor when the weather permits in the Spring.
