Born to James and Antoinette Descoteaux on April 01, 1933.
Ruth is pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph Archie Perry on July 21, 2008. She is also pre-deceased by her son Glen Perry, and her son Archie Alan Perry on July 18, 2024. She is also pre-deceased by her grandson Matthew Perry and her grandson Shaun Perry. She is survived by her daughter Helen (Perry) Lamb and her husband Robert Lamb from Alfred, her daughter Diana (Perry) Lamontagne from Waterboro, her son Dana Perry Sr. and his wife Marge Perry from Biddeford, her son Brian Perry and Connie Roy from Biddeford, and Scott Perry and his wife Tonya Perry from Arizona. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Pearl Morin and her husband Sam Morin. She is also survived by several grandchildren, Robert Lamb Jr., Gary Lamb Sr., Richard and Crystal King, Angela Blanco, Laurie and Jamie Williamson, Dana Perry Jr., Michelle Davidson, Melissa and James White, Stacey and Joe Delatorre, Eric and Caitlyn Perry, Brandon Perry, Jason Clements, Michael and Jocelyn Goodson, and Michelle Letendre. She is also survived by multiple great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Ruth enjoyed her crafts that include painting, crocheting, knitting, gardening, yard sales, shopping, and making jewelry. She did several craft shows at Totem Pole Park, where her daughter Helen and Bob Lamb had a summer camp.
Ruth was employed at Bruce Shoe, Keuffle and Esser, and ended her employment with Wasco Products in Sanford, and then moved to the Wells location before her retirement when she was 82 years old.
There will be a visitation on Friday, April 04, 2025 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Hope Memorial Chapel in Biddeford, and a burial on Saturday, April 05, 2025 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Biddeford. There will be a Celebration of Life to follow at another date to be determined. The family will let people know when and where it will be.
