Ruth E. Rose, a deeply loved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on February 13, 1942, Ruth lived a life rooted in faith, humility, and wholehearted love for her family. Her gentle spirit and quiet strength were steady comforts to those around her. She found happiness in life's simple moments, and the kindness she gave so freely will continue to ripple through the lives she touched.
Ruth is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry Rose; her daughter, Tracy (Tony) Samuel; her son, Greg Rose; and her treasured grandchildren: Joshua (Brittney), Jacob, Caleb, Sydney, and Delaney. Her family was her greatest blessing. Time spent together - filled with laughter, stories, and simple joys - meant everything to her, and she loved each of them beyond measure. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Kevin Rose, and her parents, Elmer and Blanche Burger.
A longtime and faithful member of Bible Baptist Church in Mt. Orab, Ruth's faith guided her life and connected her to a church family she held dear. Through every season, her trust in the Lord remained steadfast.
Ruth and Jerry built a life side by side, owning and operating J & R Handyman Services. Their work reflected the partnership they shared at home - one grounded in love, dedication, and deep mutual respect.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Ruth's life on March 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Evans Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location, offering an opportunity for all who loved her to come together, share memories, and honor her beautiful life.
As we remember Ruth, we hold close the warmth of her presence and the steady love she gave so selflessly. Though she is no longer with us in body, her light continues to shine in the hearts of those she cherished, reminding us always that the greatest legacy is love.
