Ruth Summers Obituary
Ruth R. Summers passed away in St. Francis hospital on February 12, 2026 at the age of 80. Ruth was born in Statesville, NC daughter of George and Carribell. Ruth met her husband William O. Summers Jr. in Statesville and eventually moved to Wilmington, DE.
They had three children Alen, Juanita, and Lesley. Ruth had nine siblings. She is survived by Juanita, Phillip, and Francine. Ruth loved to fish and mentoring her grands and great grandchildren especially Myari whom she doted. Honoring Ruth wishes a direct burial will be held.
