Ruth Ann Terrell

Ruth Ann Terrell, 84 of Oxford, CT beloved wife of the late Roger M. Terrell, she passed away on August 10, 2024. She was born November 27, 1939 daughter of the late Frank and Lydia (Poulter) Huppertz in Derby. Ruth grew up in Seymour and she and Roger moved to Oxford where they raised their family. Ruth was a hairdresser by trade and owned the Nu Look Salon in Oxford for many years before her retirement. After retiring, Ruth spent many hours volunteering at Griffin Hospital.
Survivors include her three children, Lorrie Stevenson and her husband Robert of Oxford, David Terrell and his wife MJ of Oxford, and Robert Terrell; her five grandchildren, Amanda Stevenson, Robert Stevenson, III, Elizabeth Wood and her husband Dan, Parker Terrell, and Alexa Terrell; her four great grandchildren, Brenna and Connor Maklary, William Annette, and Charlotte Wood. She also leaves behind her sister, Betty MacConnie and her husband Edward, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Roger, Ruth was predeceased by her sister, Lorraine Dean and also her granddaughter Brittany "Sunshine" Stevenson.
Calling Hours will be held on Thursday August 15, 2024 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be private.
