Ruth Ann Vickers

Ruth Ann (Geers) Vickers, passed away on Saturday, March 15th, 2025. Born in Lexington, KY on February 18, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Moses Geers and Georgia (Smith) Geers and raised by Ora Mae Geers. She attended Kenwick Elementary and attended Bryan Station High School during her junior and senior years. She was a member of Bluegrass Baptist Church. She is survived by Rosa Mae (Robert) Burgess of Lexington, KY and Linda (Dennie, deceased) Westmoreland of Myrtle Beach, SC, Helen Jean (Jack) King-deceased, Laurence, deceased (Francis) Geers, Robert (Bobby) deceased (Millie) Geers, William (Billy) Deceased (Debbie) Geers, Janet, deceased (Clay) Burke and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to acknowledge the support and care that Billie Jean provided during her time of need and also her special caregivers, Gwen, Sunseria, and CeCe. Funeral services for Ruth Ann will be 12:00Pm Saturday, March 22 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Harrodsburg Road with Chaplain Donovan Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens in Nicholasville, KY. Visitation will be 10:00AM till the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
