Ruthann Edwards Goodlin

Ruthann Edwards Goodlin, 83, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Born in Youngstown, Ohio on March 3, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Eddy Edwards and Bernice Cashbough Edwards.
In addition to her parents, Ruthann is preceded in death by her siblings, Florence, Nancy, Mary, and Eddie.
Ruthann is survived by her loving husband, Robert Leroy Goodlin; children, Elizabeth Tyler, Robert Goodlin, Jr., Karen Wade, Donald Goodlin, and Anthony Goodlin. Ruthann is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she loved dearly. She is survived by her sisters, Sally, Judy, Audrey, and Carol.
For many years, Ruthann was a faithful military spouse. No matter the assignment her husband was given, she was right there by his side. Nothing was more important to her than family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Each moment spent together with family was a memory that Ruthann would cherish forever. Ruthann, along with her husband, were known to take many cruises together. While at home, Ruthann was very talented with arts and crafts. She was a skilled in embroidery and crocheting and was able to make beautiful pieces.
