She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Russell Patterson; four brothers, Norman Nichols, Jim Nichols, Robert Nichols, and Cecil Nichols; and one sister, Angeline Harrell.
Ruthie is survived by her son, Jeremy Patterson (Crystal); four sisters, Janette Fragakis, Hannah Harrell, Kathleen Keller, and Liz Cloud (Billy); one brother, Oscar Nichols; and four precious grandchildren, Ethan, Lola, Benjamin, and Persephone.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Family Funeral Home in the Harvey Young Chapel. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, November 8, 2025 starting at 11am at Family Funeral Home in the Harvey Young Chapel. Final resting place will be Bonnett Pond Cemetery.
