Ryan Dingee Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc. - Rosendale on May 1, 2025.
Kerhonkson - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ryan David Dingee, age 37, who left us on April 28, 2025. Born on May 20, 1987, Ryan was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend whose spirit touched the lives of many. Ryan was the cherished son of the late Roger E. Dingee and Elizabeth A. Dingee. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth A. Dingee and companion Stanley Wright, his former wife, Alisha Dingee, and their three wonderful children, Kamren, Sophia, and Julianna, who were the light of his life. Ryan's love for his family extended to his sister, Bettina Post, and brother-in-law, Greg Post, along with their children Emma, Abigail, and Gregory. He also leaves behind his sister, Hillary Dingee, and her son, Brayden Pra, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. A proud graduate of Rondout Valley School District, Ryan dedicated over 20 years to the Local 17 Laborers Union, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his craft. His passion for construction was matched only by his love for the great outdoors. Ryan found joy in camping, boating, BMX riding, swimming, hiking, and skiing, often sharing these adventures with his close friends and children. Ryan's warmth, humor, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He had a unique ability to bring people together, creating lasting memories and friendships that will endure. As we remember Ryan, let us celebrate the joy he brought into our lives and the love he shared with his family and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday May 4 from 2 to 4 PM at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. At 4 PM following the visitation Rev. Richard Wright will officiate his funeral service. Cremation will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to his children's education fund in care of Alisha Dingee, 449 Cherrytown Road, Kerhonkson, NY 12446. Rest in peace, dear Ryan. Your legacy of love and adventure will live on in the hearts of those you touched.
