Ryan was always a good guy growing up near each other in Gregory Gardens in Pleasant Hill California. I left the area in 1968 to Walnut Creek, and now live in Seattle. I still keep in touch with Ryan's classmates from Gregory Gardens. I knew his parents well, and his sister Sharlene too. Ryan's mother Helen, and my father use to work together during the early 1960's in Oakland. Everybody liked Ryan Evans. He will be missed. Rick E. Koch

I had the pleasure of working with Ryan at the Utah Dept. of Corrections Investigations Bureau. He was a kind, caring person. I don't believe I ever heard him speak ill of anyone, even the people we were investigating. He usually had that special smile he shared with everyone. Sad to hear of his passing just when he finally was able to retire and really enjoy his family and life. May his family be blessed with the Lord's Peace during this difficult time and the days to come.

I am so greatly saddened to hear about Ryan´s passing. My deepest condolences go out to Kim and his entire family. I worked with Ryan at the Sanpete County Sheriff´s Office from 2009 thru 2012. I was taken out of patrol and assigned to the Task Force with Ryan. At the time, he was the Commander. He was an incredible mentor, leader, and friend. We maintained a wonderful friendship which I cherish. He had an infinite love for Christ and his family, his grandchildren being the most essential and very center of his life. He helped me through some of my most difficult times with sound and wise guidance. He was an incredible Son, Husband, Father, and Grandfather. As I type this, I can still hear the laughter in his voice as we would visit. He will be deeply missed. Rest in Peace, Ryan Andrew Evans, until Paradise and the Resurrection. May you forever serve at the foot of God.

So sorry for your loss. Ryan was more than just a tax client, but I considered him a dear friend. He often expressed his love for all of you. He will be deeply missed.
