I used to fish on the river grove boat ramp with Ryan during a couple summers in elementary school. Worm on the bottom, catching mostly perch, learned a lot from him. I remember he caught this giant carp one time. Those were good times, grew apart in junior high, but I always think back to those summers when I stop by the boat ramp or paddle past it.

I was one of the fortunate people who had the opportunity to know Ryan. I only wish I had known him longer. I met him two years ago when I hired him to clean my gutters. Being new to Oregon, I didn't know many people. Ryan quickly became like a member of the family. He helped me so much with transforming my yard. He was so kind and patient with me when I said things like, "I don't know what I want here, but I hate what is there now". He had a great vision for what would work in a given situation (with or without water).

Ryan had a HUGE heart and cared so much about others, especially his family. He wanted so much for everyone else to be happy (even if it meant he had to work 12 hours a day 7 days a week). I can honestly say that he is the hardest worker I have ever seen in any profession. He finished a beautiful flagstone patio and retaining wall for me last month. I will remember him fondly every time I see it.

I am sad that I won't have my friend Ryan in my life anymore. I will miss his smile and the photos of the fish he caught, Izzy, or videos of him doing crazy things like rolling around the courtroom in his chair during jury duty or riding a skateboard down a parking garage at an unsafe speed. You just never knew what he was going to do, but you knew it would make you smile, and that made him happy. You will be missed Ryan.

Ryan, will be missed. His generous heart, and kindness, should be remembered by all.

I did not know Ryan very well but he was a great friend to my family. Our household respected his hard work ethic and he was a very nice person.

We are deeply saddened by his loss. I hope that is he is at peace now.

God bless.

I am so sorry about the loss of Ryan. We met Ryan in May 2020. We had just moved here to Lake Oswego and needed lawn service. We hired him immediately after meeting him. We knew after just a few minutes he was our guy. He was the hardest working man I have ever met. He did a great job and was very proud. I know he mentioned taking his father over to see our yard. We will miss him so much.
