Ryan Griffith

Ryan Davis Griffith born October 10, 1983 passed away at home surrounded by family and friends on Saturday May 18, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ryan grew up in Hanson, Massachusetts where he made life long friends and left a true impact on a small community. From Summer's spent at Cranberry Cove to Fall's spent under the Friday night lights, anyone who met Ryan loved him!
Ryan graduated from Whitman Hanson Regional High school in 2002, continued his education and football career at Stonehill College where he graduated in 2006. Ryan joined his father in business working side by side for the last 15 years. Ryan loved spending time with family, fishing with his dad and buddies, playing his guitar, and most of all he loved being a dad and uncle.
Ryan is survived by his parents John and Linda Griffith of Hanson, his wife Shannon Griffith (Thomas), his daughter and greatest love Lily Griffith, his grandmother Mary Cummings of Rockland, his brother John and wife Trisha Griffith of Abington, his sister Jaime and her husband Jason Barry of Whitman, his sister Alycia and her husband Adam Noble of North Attleboro, his sister Jenny and her husband Matt Morgan of Hanover, sister Keri Kelleher of Hanson. Ryan is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ryan's life may have been short but it was full. There truly are no words that could ever do his life justice. In the days since his passing, there is one common theme that people talk about when they think of Ryan. Everyone mentions how he made them "feel" like you were the only one in the room. He had a genuine charm and truly cared about everyone he met. Ryan was strong and hard when you needed him to be, but he was gentle and wore his heart on his sleeve always. He would be the first one to have your back or pick you up when you were down, but he also would be the first one to call you out if you were in the wrong. He believed in honesty and respect and it was something we all admired about him. He left a footprint on our hearts for a reason so don't waste it. Live life for him now, love harder than you've ever loved and keep his memory alive in all of you.
Ryan we will love you forever soar high our Angel and be at peace. Watch over all of us, until we meet again.
Our family is in the planning stages of Ryan's celebration of life and we will update once we have secured a date and location. We will post the information on his go fund me page and update here as well.
