Ryan Jamie Hendricks, born on October 28, 1976, in Kettering, Ohio, passed away on December 30, 2024, in Miamisburg, Ohio. He was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend whose warmth, humor, and creativity touched the lives of all who knew him.
Ryan graduated from Carlisle High School in the class of 1996 and further pursued his education in the HVAC program at Sinclair Community College. His career included working at PSI and serving as a security guard at Premier Health in Austin Landing. Ryan was known as a dedicated worker who embraced challenges with a positive and easy-going spirit.
In his personal life, Ryan was a devoted father to his daughter, Brooklyn Hendricks, whom he affectionately called "Sweetpea." He had an infectious smile and a remarkable ability to uplift those around him with his humor and storytelling. Family and friends fondly remember the countless jokes he would share, often bringing joy and laughter into gatherings.
Ryan's personality was marked by his willingness to help others, making him a cherished presence in his community. He was also a man of many talents, often finding joy in crafty projects, whether they involved fixing something around the house or planting flowers and trees in his yard. An outdoor enthusiast, Ryan actively participated in various sports during his younger years and enjoyed hunting and fishing, reveling in nature's beauty.
Ryan is survived by his daughter, Brooklyn Hendricks, mother, Robin Beachler, and stepfather, Michael Beachler; his brother, Jason Hendricks; his stepmother, Jill Hendricks; as well as cherished friends and family members, including James Spencer, Rusty Reed and his wife Bobbie Jo, Nick Reed, Randi Bower and her husband Kevin, Judy Dotson, and Brenda Reboulet. He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Hendricks; his uncle, Chris Reed; his grandmother, Alberta Beachler; and his grandparents Robert Reed and Joyce Reed.
A memorial gathering will be held on January 15, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life from 2:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439.
As friends and family come together to celebrate Ryan's life, they will undoubtedly remember a caring soul who made an indelible mark on their hearts, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will endure through the cherished memories they hold dear.
