It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that our beloved Ryan Patrick Kelly, born March 14, 1999 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania departed this world on April 3, 2025. Ryan was the second son of Holly Krupp Kelly and Frank Kelly and was a brother to Colin, Gavin, and Katherine. Ryan, universally adored by friends and family, was a larger-than-life spirit. Ryan graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security in 2021. Ryan was an avid cyclist, music lover, skier and traveler who loved enjoying time in the hot tub and walks with his family. Ryan was always planning his next adventure; he traveled to many countries along with his brother and close friends.
In his earlier life, Ryan, or affectionately known as "Rooster," was a varsity tennis and soccer athlete at Palisades High School, which he graduated from in 2017. Ryan loved to wear stylish clothes and sport different hair styles; he was always a trend setter. He loved spending time in the mountains, and spent most winter weekends skiing Elk Mountain with friends and family. He was a great brother and son who always looked out for his siblings.
While attending Penn State University, Ryan was an active member of the Cycling Club. Ryan's teammates remember long rides through the beautiful Central PA countryside and weekends spent traveling with him to Eastern Collegiate Cycling Conference races. During these years he never said no to an adventure and spontaneously squeezed in international trips between semesters and breaks.
Ryan suffered courageously from Multiple Sclerosis for the past 5 years. Not only did this impact his body, but it caused neurological issues. He endured more over these years than anyone should ever have to. Never once did he complain. He did not let his condition get in the way of loving his family and showing it in any way he could. His family finds comfort in knowing that they exchanged as many "I love you's" as humanly possible and got big loving hugs from Ryan. They know deep down that he is finally at peace, with his pain and suffering having been relieved of him, and is in the loving arms of God looking down on them.
Please join us in celebrating Ryan's life on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at St. John the Baptist Church, 4050 Durham Road, Ottsville, PA 18942 from 10:30-11:15 am, with a funeral mass to begin at 11:30 am. Please arrive early to greet the family prior to mass.
We also ask that you bring a special memory of Ryan and leave it in the memory box or post one on this website.

I worked with Ryan at the Trek store when it was still in Doylestown. We had a bunch of fun, he was awesome to work with. Really and truly sorry for the loss, he was a very special guy.

My condolences to Ryan´s Family and Friends. We were in lots of classes together in school and I had known him since kindergarten. He was always making jokes and no one could beat him when we played soccer in gym class. He was always very kind and a team player. Rest easy Ryan.

I'll always remember Rooster racing on our team at the Bucks County Classic, but I especially remember running into the Kelly boys on a random spring day in State College while they were out "celebrating." Great to see the brothers enjoying each others company that day.
