Ryan David Rome

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ryan David Rome, who left us on July 9, 2025, at the age of 46.
Born on January 9, 1979, and a lifelong resident of Metairie, La, he will always be remembered for his kind heart, laid-back spirit, and quiet strength.
Ryan possessed a remarkable talent for working with his hands and had an innate ability to fix just about anything. He found genuine satisfaction in this work, often using his skills to help others without hesitation.
He is survived by his loving mother, Carolyn; his brother Brandon and sister-in-law Leah; his sister Stacy and brother-in-law Joshua; his Uncle Clayton; his cherished son Caleb; and his beloved niece Cayla. He was preceded in death by his father, John A. Rome. Ryan also leaves behind numerous family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
A memorial service to celebrate Ryan's life will be held on August 16th, 2025 at 740 N. Atlanta St. from 11a-2p. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and support.
Because of Ryan's lifelong love for animals, in lieu of flowers, the family invites you to celebrate his memory by considering donating to your local animal shelter.
