Rylee Jean Margaret Marvel, 18, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, New Jersey. Rylee was born on September 16, 2006, in Red Bank, New Jersey to her beloved parents, George "Tug" and Odette (Klunek) Marvel. Rylee grew up in Hazlet and attended Raritan High School in Hazlet, New Jersey, where she was currently in her senior year.
Rylee was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Rylee is survived by her beloved parents, Tug and Odette (Klunek) Marvel, her loving sister, Shea Marvel, her cherished Aunts and Uncles, Michael and Jennifer Marvel, Beth and Steve Hildner, Jim and Kim MacDonald, Lisa Kelly Falcon, Desiree Klunek and her fiancé Rob Savoye and Colleen Klunek, her caring cousins, Hayley, Evan, Jami, Ellis, and Sadie.
She is predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Catherine "Sweetie" Patey Klunek, her paternal grandparents, Margaret and Michael MacDonald, and her cousin Michael "Mikey" Anthony Marvel.
Rylee spent her most cherished time with her mom, who was her dearest friend and confidant. She loved listening to music such as Lewis Capaldi, Noah Kahan, most recently Chappell Roan, and many other artists of any genre, as she would never say no to an opportunity to go to a concert. If you happened to see her YouTube search bar, you would know that The Sturniolo Triplets were always the most recently searched. She had a knack for true crime and could give a background on any case, while also being able to recite every Criminal Minds episode. She spent some afternoons in Barnes & Noble, reading her favorite books or keeping up with her journal. To know Rylee was to love her, as she never passed judgement, was always understanding, and truly saw the best in everyone she met. She lit up every room not only with her sarcasm and humor, but a simple smile. She will be deeply missed and forever honored, as it was an honor to be loved by her.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 AM on Monday, December 23rd, 2024, at Saint Catherine of Laboure Church, 110 Bray Ave., North Middletown, New Jersey 07748.
