Sabrina Faulk, affectionately known to many as Auntie Brinee, was a radiant beacon of love and laughter who passed away on August 5, 2024. In her 69 years of life, she left an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone she encountered.
Sabrina was born on March 17, 1955, in Baltimore Maryland to Mary Helen Faulk and James Faulk. She was the youngest of four siblings: brothers Wesley Richardson, Dexter Faulk, and one sister Joselyn Gibson. Sabrina had six nieces: Kia, Natiece, Micheal, Joselyn, Charie, and Kimberly, two nephews: Carl and Miles.
A dedicated mother, a loving sister, and a spirited friend, Sabrina was a woman who truly understood the essence of life and lived every moment to its fullest. Her infectious laughter and zest for life made her a joy to be around and a precious gift to those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sabrina was a woman of many talents and passions. From her green thumb in gardening, her keen eye in fashion games and thrift shopping, to her artistic prowess in painting and singing, she lived her life in full color. She was a news enthusiast who always kept her finger on the pulse of the world, and she found solace in the tranquility of nature walks. Her faith was her rock, and she was a dedicated believer in Jesus Christ. Sabrina was an active participant in street evangelism and worship ministry, epitomizing the verse from Matthew 5:16, In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. She was confident that her heart and all her treasure is in heaven with her beloved Lord and Savior. In the words of the hymn, "His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches over me."
She lived by the words of Jesus in Matthew 22:37-39, You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: Love your neighbor as yourself."
Her world revolved around her family, especially her daughters and her granddaughters, London and Kamara, whom she lovingly referred to as her "little princesses". She shared a unique bond with her sister Joselyn, and their enduring friendship was a testament to the power of sisterhood. Sabrina is survived by two daughters: Myesha and Kyiesha and two beautiful granddaughters: London Alexander and Kamara Merritt, and the dedicated father of her children, Donnell Cooper. She leaves behind a rich legacy of love, faith, and dedication.
