Sallie Buttram

Sallie Doloros Buttram age 93, died peacefully at home on December 9, 2022. Sallie was born and raised in Wichita, KS where she was the Worthy Advisor (President) of the Rainbow Girls and graduated from high school in Wichita in 1948.
Sallie went to work for the Fourth National Bank where she met the love of her live Bill Buttram. Later in life they moved to Lake Tenkiller and became members of the Gore United Methodist Church. Sallie enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and eating at Sixshooter Marina. Sallie enjoyed spending time with her many friends at Gore United Methodist Church.
Sallie was preceded in death by her parents Helen and Fred Brannan, her husband of 67 years William Buttram and a sister Ilus Morton. Surviving are her brother Jack Brannan (Marilyn) of Columbia, MO; her sons David Buttram (Jacki) of Bennett, CO and Mark Buttram (Steve) of Wichita; her daughter Susan Tedder of Park Hill, OK; grandchildren Katie Tedder, Eric Tedder, Alex Tedder, Austin Tedder and Brandy Leonard; one great grandson Quentin Berry and 7 nieces and 2 nephews.
Viewing will be Thursday from 3 pm to 6 pm at Gore United Methodist Church. Services will be 9 am Friday at Gore United Methodist Church with Rev. Velma Carriaga and Eric Tedder officiating. Interment will follow at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the care and direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
