Sally S. Buce

1939 - 2023

Sally S. Buce passed away peacefully on Friday, March 17 at home in King of Prussia, PA, at the age of 83. She had been a member of Mother of Divine Providence Parish since 1963. While living here in King of Prussia, Sally went on a Marriage Encounter experience, joined the UM Senior Center (where she helped get the 600 monthly copies of the newsletter put together and prepped for mailing), enjoyed Bingo and her friends. She also enjoyed the annual Montco Senior Games. Born in Glendale, CA on November 13,1939, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Beulah (Underwood) Brown. Sally went to St Ferdinand's grade school and Alemany High School in San Fernando, graduating in 1957. Sally met Paul Buce at Stella Maris (a CYO group) in San Fernando, CA in 1959 and they married in May 1960, beginning 62+ wonderful years together. Having a scattered family and clusters of friends from school and Stella Maris, she and her husband did lots of traveling across country. Their boys enjoyed driving cross country, seeing many National Parks and Wall Drugs. Sally and her husband, Paul, even had the opportunity to spend a month in Fiji visiting her brother and his wife. When the boys were grown Sally went back to work as a bookkeeper for Dick Curley, and enjoyed this experience, working for a great boss. Sally is survived by her husband, Paul; three sons, George, Stephen and Michael and his wife, Lee (Stevenson); two grandsons, Taylor and Carter; and a sister, Patricia Phelps. She was predeceased by her brother, Jim Brown. The family will receive relatives and friends at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 9:00 to 9:50am; with her Memorial Mass starting at 10:00am. Interment will be set for a later date.
