Sally Burroughs, a beloved member of the Goodlettsville community, passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 82, and born on March 14, 1942. Sally was known for her feisty, determination, and strong will personality. These traits made her a true force in the lives of those who knew her.Sally her role as a mother and grandmother, took immense pride in her family. Her grandchildren, who affectionately referred to her as "Granny," were among her proudest accomplishments. Sally's legacy continues through her son, Marvin (Mae) Burroughs, her favorite granddaughter, Angela Woods, as well as other several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry forth her memory with love.She was a life long member of Saint Bellview Missionary Baptist Church.Her life was filled with simple joys, such as knitting and shopping, which brought her much happiness. Sally's warm personality and zest for life left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path.She joins her beloved husband, James Thomas Burroughs, Sr., in eternal rest, alongside her children, James Thomas Burroughs, Jr., Carol Burroughs-Wordlaw, and Diane Burroughs-Thompson. She will also be reunited with her grandchildren, Tom Thompson and Tadaryl Burroughs, and great grandchild, GKoby Burroughs. The love that she shared with them will forever resonate through the hearts of her surviving family.Visitation for Sally Burroughs will be held on November 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Goodlettsville, located at 127 N Main St, 37072, with burial at Saint Bellview Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Sally's contribution to her family and community will be fondly remembered and celebrated. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and an unwavering spirit that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
