Sitton, Winston Bradshaw “Brad,” aged 62, passed away October 12, 2025 while enjoying a beautiful walk in Percy Warner Park with his dog. He was a beloved partner, father, brother, and friend. Born in Nashville, TN on October 6, 1963, to Ann Winston Bradshaw and Milton Haight Sitton, both of whom preceded him in death, he was the eldest of four children.

He attended Montgomery Bell Academy (class of 1982) before receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Virginia (class of 1986), his Master’s in Business from Vanderbilt University (class of 1989), and his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia (class of 1993).

In his own words, Brad was a “faithful friend and fierce foe: adventurer, poet & seeker of the truth.” He had a wild sense of humor and was a life-long learner, filling his time reading and writing and sparking debate. He lived life on his own terms, and he lived it loudly. He was a regular attendee of Woodmont Christian Church and Christ the King Catholic Church. Brad cherished his time spent with his family and in nature, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving partner Laura Behne, his daughters Jocelyn Sitton (Jordan) and Justine Sitton, and step-daughters Allison Peck (Coleman) and Emily Ogden (Tyler). Also surviving are his sisters Sarah Wilson (Jimmy) and Kara Griffin (Lloyd), brother Joseph Sitton (Leslie), ex-wife Barbara Keyes, and many other nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and loved ones across the country.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th at 2 p.m. at Woodmont Christian Church (3601 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, Tennessee), with a visitation preceding the service at 1 p.m. and a reception following at 3 p.m. in the church gathering space. Dr. Roy Stauffer will officiate the services.

Burial will be with his mother and father at the Memorial Gardens in Hartsville, Tennessee at a private ceremony for family and close friends this November.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Friends of Percy Warner Park.
