Sally De La Cruz Mom passed away on October 24, 2025. Sally LouAnn De La Cruz, known to her friends simply as “Lou”, was born and raised in La Grande, Oregon. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to so many. Mom had a heart for helping others and spent over 20 years working as a nurse before retiring from Integris Southwest Medical Center in 2003.
She always made sure no one ever left her home hungry—there was always something good to eat waiting when we came to visit. Mom deeply loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben, and her oldest son, Mark. Mom and Dad were married for over 50 years before Dad’s passing seven years ago. She is survived by her three sons, Kenneth, Paul, and Thomas; her grandchildren, Rachel, Jerry, Jessica, Michael, Chad, Kerry, Kasey, and Chelsey; and many great-grandchildren.
You were loved by so many, Mom, and you will be deeply missed by all.
