Sally Jo Lockhart Kirk, age 76, of Brushfork, West Virginia passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Princeton Community Hospital.

Sally was born on April 25, 1948, in Welch, West Virginia to the late William Harvey and Hazel Ruth Lockhart. She enjoyed cooking, and loved playing bingo, but nothing brought her greater joy than her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. And her dog teddy bear.

In addition, to her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband of 50 years Frederick “Rat” Kirk; her four sisters Peggy Boner, Linda Shepherd, Nancy Kidwell, and Susie Lockhart. And late brothers Don, Jack, Bill, and Buford Lockhart.

Survivors include her Son Frederick (Nonnie) Kirk and fiancé Jackie Bolden of Coalwood, WV. Daughters Melissa (Missy) Kirk and fiancé Sam Christian of Coalwood, WV and Amy Gibson and fiancé Chris Crabtree of Rosedale, VA. One sister Connie and husband Clarence Belcher and one brother Ronnie Lockhart.

Several grandchildren: Megan Price husband Jason, Joshua Graham wife Siearra, Merissa Gibson and fiancé Rocky, Logan Kirk and fiancé Karrah, Blake Gibson and Amber Kirk and fiancé Tyler.

Several great-grandchildren: Sveva, Emma, Remington, Brylan, Fisher, Kallie, Josie, and Maverick.

In addition, very special nephews Tony Santo and wife Sue of SC and Jimmy Santo and a niece Cindy Kidwell Green and companion Randy.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastor Scott Long officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers. 

Friends may call prior to services, from 1:00-2:00PM at the funeral home.
