Sally became a spiritual mentor to me. She taught me to love G-d and to remove all doubt about the Other Side. On my annual trips to NJ, we would meet up individually, and go have a meal, or quiet conversation in her apartment, with Yogi watching close by. Sometimes we would meet with Twitter friends at Hobby's deli in Newark. We would talk, text, and exchange gifts. She was legend at Radio Shack for being open on Christmas, with an all-Jewish staff. She was a French Horn player. She was a model of love for people and a model of perseverance in the face of her medical issues. With her mission on earth completed, she packed her memories and a clean soul, and went home.

I "met" Sally on Twitter - talking about the Yankees. We hit it off and exchanged phone numbers - we texted often and even FaceTimed a few times to catch up and chat. She was a wonderful person and even though we only knew each other virtually - she meant a lot to me. My wish is that her memory will be a blessing to all who knew and loved her. I know I will miss my Yankee friend.

Although we haven´t spoken much these past few years I hope you know that I love you and will always be thinking of you forever. I love and miss you and although we weren´t related by blood you will always be my Aunt Sally.
