Sally Middlebrooks Obituary
Sally is lovingly remembered by her four sons-John (Renee) Fleener, Adam (Stephanie) Fleener, Gerald (Andria) Boat, and Paul Boat (Kevin Kuharic)-as well as her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her husband, Robert H. Middlebrooks, with whom she shared many joyful years, preceded her in death.
She enjoyed a meaningful career as a Supervisory Contract Specialist for the Federal Government in Port Hueneme, California, retiring with the rank of GS-14.
She was a devoted supporter of her family, always cheering from the stands at her sons' and grandchildren's sporting events.
Sally had a lifelong love for the water. Growing up, she swam competitively on her local swim team and worked as a lifeguard in her youth and as a young adult. That love of the water stayed with her throughout her life, bringing her happiness, in her retirement, while living at Lake Nacimiento. Sally also had a love for animals, especially dogs. She was known for her love of shopping and found joy in simple pleasures like reading, word puzzles, and bargain hunting.
