Sally B. (Brown) Oâ??Malley of West Roxbury, formerly of Newington, CT, passed away on September 1, 2025. Beloved wife of the late John C. Oâ??Malley. Devoted mother of Jennifer Oâ??Malley and her husband Keith Zagroba, and the late John M. Oâ??Malley. Dear sister of the late Chris Brown. Proud and loving grandmother of Zoe and Molly Zagroba. Sally is also survived by loving extended family members and longtime friends.

Sally attended nursing school at the University of Vermont and proudly served families in Boston as a Visting Nurse for many years before starting her family. She then became a committed advocate for children with special needs and helped to shape area education and community programs that benefited countless students and families over the years. She later took on her favorite role as â??Gmaâ? and always described being a grandmother as the best thing in the world. Sally loved spending time with family and friends, trips to the Cape, outings to the theater, and baking what are widely recognized to be the best chocolate chip cookies. We are grateful for our time with this kind, compassionate, loving and sweet soul, we are better for what we learned from her, and we will miss her always.

Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury, on Monday, September 8th at 9:00am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
