Bette June O'Malley of Mays Landing, NJ
Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, teacher and friend passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family 19 July 2024. Known for her kindness and selflessness, Bette always put others before herself. As a dedicated teacher at Bordentown Regional High School, she made a lasting impact on many lives through her roles as class advisor, theater administrator, yearbook coordinator and English teacher. Bette's legacy will be cherished by all who knew her. She is survived by her children Jim Farrell, Doug (Jane) Farrell and Amy (Donny) Sack and three grandchildren Dylan, Jake and Jayson Sack. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her contributions to the community and the lives she touched.
A Celebration will be held in Bordentown where Bette had raised her family (her children and extended family, Eddie O'Malley, Charlie O'Malley and Bob Murphy) and taught nearly 30 years at Bordentown Regional High School. The Celebration will be held on September 6th from 6pm to 8pm, at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Avenue, Bordentown, NJ, where reflections will be shared at 7:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Hospice Foundation of America, Rubinstein-Taybi Foundation or charity of your choice in her name.
