Richard K. Betz, 71, of Ewing, NJ, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
Born in Trenton, Richard resided in Ewing all of his life. He was an avid golfer, bowler and corvette enthusiast. Richard retired from Ryder Truck Rental in Bristol, PA, after 30 years of service. He then went on to work part time for Starr Transit. Richard played a lot of golf, and had a Hole-In-One on a 205 yard hole. He also did quite a bit of bowling and had a 300 game once. Richard loved the Yankees and watched just about every game on TV.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Beverly Betz; his long time companion and her children, Diane Adcock, and Jay Adcock (Michelle), and Brett Adcock; and numerous cousins, affectionately known as the "Levittowner's".
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 7PM, at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown, NJ. Eulogies will be given at 7:30PM.
Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Richard's memory to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Richard, please visit our Tree Store.
