Sally Ann Reinschmidt Newhouse Rodriguez

Sally Ann Reinschmidt Newhouse Rodriguez (77) was born on May 9th, 1948 in Houston, Texas to Fred Adolf Reinschmidt & Jane Eller Reinschmidt.
Sally grew up in Houston, Texas, attended HISD's Roberts Elementary, Lanier Middle School, Lamar High School, and graduated from the University of Houston in 1970. She was very proud to be a Houstonian. Sally enjoyed her childhood spending weekends at the "Camp" on Bastrop Bayou with her parents, sister, and good family friends - the Weyrich family. She loved the "Gulf" and had a special place in her heart for Surfside. Sally was raised in the Southgate neighborhood next to the Texas Medical Center. She was a doting daughter to her parents Jane & Fred, an excellent mother to her two children, Jennifer and Andrew, a caring sister to Emily, and a wonderful grandmother to Dylan and Peyton.
Sally is survived by her two children Jennifer Spriggs and Andrew Newhouse and their spouses Stephen Spriggs, and Richard Jones, her husband Guadalupe C. Rodriguez, grandchildren Dylan and Peyton Spriggs, sister Emily and husband Larry Smith, along with her niece and nephew, Jessica and Joshua Smith.
The memorial service will be a graveside service at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., at 2:00pm on Friday, October 24th, 2025.
