Salvador Ardura Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Salvador "Sal" Ardura, a cherished husband, skilled entrepreneur, and pillar of kindness, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025, in Fort Pierce, Florida. Born on November 24, 1936, in the lush regions of Asturias, Spain, Sal's life was a testament to his generous spirit and indefatigable work ethic.Sal's journey from Spain to the hearts of the Fort Pierce community began with his birth in Asturias and unfolded magnificently throughout his 88 years. It was here in Florida that he met and married Margarita, his beloved wife of 43 years, whose love and companionship remained a steadfast beacon throughout his life. His professional life was marked by the same ingenuity and determination he brought to every endeavor. Sal earned a well-deserved reputation as a hardworking businessman through his ownership and operation of a successful lawn service business. His knack for restoring homes brought renewed vibrancy to neighborhoods, as he transformed dilapidated structures into beautiful houses, much to the delight of new homeowners and the community at large.Sal was often described by those who knew him as generous, handy, and kind; a man who could always be counted on to lend a helping hand. His family recalls countless afternoons spent with him, working on a restoration project or tending to the details of his business, each moment imbued with his attentive care and warm heart.True to his character, a favorite quote of Sal's was by Winston Churchill: "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." Sal lived by these words, finding joy not only in the fruits of his labor but in the happiness he could bestow upon others through his generosity and keen ability to improve the surroundings he touched. As the sun sets on a life well-lived, we remember Salvador Ardura for his immense contributions to his family and community, his unwavering love for his wife, Margarita, and the indelible mark he has left upon the world through his kindness and craft. Sal's legacy will continue to inspire, as he so eloquently demonstrated through his life that the measure of a person lies in the goodness and love they leave behind.
A graveside service will be held, Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 10AM at White City Cemetery, Fort Pierce.
