Beloved husband of Linda Nocella (nee Falcone). Cherished father of Rebecca Anne Nocella and Amanda Beth Nocella. Dear brother of the late Frank Nocella and the late Mary Nocella.
Born in Gaeta, Italy Salvatore immigrated to the United States in 1947 living in Paterson before moving to Little Falls 34 years ago. Sal served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Salvatore was an international banker and most recently worked as a comptroller for Vision Products in East Hanover before his retirement. He was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Woodland Park. Sal was a proud Passaic Valley UNICO member as well as a past member of the Little Falls Jaycees.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 9 am to 10:30 am at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls. Passaic Valley UNICO will perform a service at 9:30 am. A funeral mass will be held at 11 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 220 Browertown Road, Woodland Park, NJ 07424.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation online at www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org or mailed to 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 500, Chicago. IL 60611. Envelopes will also be provided by the funeral home during visitation for your convenience.
