Salvatore "Sal" Riccobono

December 18, 1935 – July 31, 2025

Sal Riccobono, a master cabinet maker known for his craftsmanship, sharp mind, and tireless work ethic, passed away peacefully at home in Concord on July 31, 2025, at the age of 89.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Sal was one of four children and proud of his roots. He could fix or build just about anything - often in ways so clever, no one else could quite figure out how he did it. His attention to detail and skill turned even the most ordinary repairs into something extraordinary.

Over the years, Sal built a large, blended family that was the center of his world. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hilda, in 2015.

He leaves behind five children, twelve grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren who will remember his intelligence, steady presence, and unmatched craftsmanship. Whether helping a neighbor, building something from scratch, or solving a problem no one else could, Sal lived a life of purpose and love.

A service will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Oakmont Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his honor.
