Sam O'Neal White was born April 4th, 1959, in Beaumont, Texas to Jo Theresa Magliolo White and William Harvey White. Sam returned to our Lord while in his home on hospice care March 5th, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Sam White was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Theresa Magliolo White; father, William Harvey White; and brother, William Mark White.
He is survived by the love of his life, Yvonne Jenkins White; his two daughters, Jessica White Ploch and husband, Rodney and Danielle White Keeling and husband, Ben; his two sons, Kenneth Jenkins and wife, Joanna and Sam O'Neal White Jr. Sam also leaves behind four grandchildren, Caseyn, Cadence, Tyler, and Shannon; sisters, Mary Ausburne and husband, Lee, Wanda Smith, Nadine Brown and husband, Ronnie; brothers, Clifton White and Elton White and wife, Tonja; sister-in-law, Ronda Orr; brother-in-law, Scott Dickerson; and many nieces, nephews and friends that loved him dearly.
Sam worked as a carpenter for most of his life building custom homes. His passion was displayed through his custom woodworking craftmanship and could also design anything a person wanted to make. He was always ready to teach anyone that wanted to learn.
You could always find Sam watching the Dallas Cowboys on game day out in his "Man Cave" getting ready to grill steaks, ribs and chicken, using his famous BBQ sauce. Sam loved hosting gatherings, he truly believed in the tradition of bringing family together with love, laughter and food.
Let us come together to celebrate Sam's life, as his family invites everyone to wear their Dallas Cowboys attire in a vibrant tribute.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, at First Christian Church located at 101 Chicken St. in Weston, Texas, 75097 officiated by Mr. Glenn Williams. Cookout following the service at Sam and Yvonne's home.
