Samuel Benoist Obituary
Samuel R. Benoist, age 54, of Eagle Butte, SD, entered the Spirit World on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Denver, CO. A funeral procession will begin at 4:00 PM at the 4 Mile on Thursday, November 7, 2024. A wake service will begin at 6:00 (mst), Thursday, Nov. 7, at St. John's Episcopal Church at Eagle Butte. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM (mst) Friday, November 8, at St. John's Episcopal Church. After a luncheon, burial follow at the Morgan Family Cemetery, 20 miles southwest of Eagle Butte.
Our beloved Father, Son, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, Grandfather Samuel Ralph Benoist began his journey to the Spirit World on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
Sam was born June 3, 1970 to Richard Henry Benoist and Ramona Benoist Jewett.
Sam spent most of his life in White Horse and Rapid City. He could play an instrument after a few hours of listening. He loved to play the harmonica.
Sam was blessed with 6 children Zoey, Richard, Corey, Nate Miller, Nate Benoist, and Michael Charlton.
He lived 54 great years growing in and attending school in Rapid City touching minds and hearts with his artwork and natural charisma making friends and family along the way.
Sam is survived by his children Zoey Ware, Corey Sowers, Nate Miller, Nate Benoist.
He is preceded in death by his father Richard, sons Richard Sowers and Michael Charlton.
