Samuel Henry "Sam" Frederick

Samuel "Sam" Henry Frederick, 66, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at his home.
Sam was born in Evansville, Indiana on April 25, 1959 to the late Howard Peter and Ellen (Simpers) Frederick. He worked for Moore Machine & Gear for many years. Sam served as a volunteer firefighter in the 90's. He was a member of the Daniel Boone Gun Club. Sam enjoyed restoring cars, fishing, and working with his hands. He was known for his generous spirit, always ready to help anyone who called. Sam's greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle.
Sam is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judy (Blanton) Frederick of Evansville, IN; daughter, Michelle Frederick of Evansville, IN; son, Alex Frederick of Evansville, IN; sister, Rebecca McDonough (James) of Washington, D.C.; brothers, Peter Frederick of Evansville, IN, Noel Frederick (Anne) of Montana and Daniel Frederick (Jolie) of Clarksville, TN; brother-in-law, Larry Blanton (Rita) of Ft. Branch, IN; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents.
Private burial will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Ft. Branch, IN.
