A memorial service celebrating the life of Samuel “Bryce” McKneely will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the StoneWater Church in Cleburne with Pastor Trinity Bounds officiating.
Bryce passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the age of 35 as a result of a work accident. He was born in Lufkin, Texas on September 23, 1988.
Bryce had a personal relationship with the Lord, was a fantastic dad, and loved his wife and children with all his being. He graduated from Rio Vista High School and was a veteran having served in the United States Army. He was a hard worker and never met a stranger. Bryce was athletic and he really enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He also loved to learn. He was a Civil War buff and a movie fanatic. Bryce was hilarious with a great sense of humor and to say that he was proud of his Texas heritage doesn’t say enough!
Bryce was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Torres; and his father, J. R. McKneely.
He is survived by his son, Landon McKneely and daughter, Chloe McKneely; mother, Carla Hooton; sister, Blair McKneely; brothers, Matthew Steveson, Brady McKneely and wife, Shelby, and Blane McKneely; grandmother, Joyce Brannon; nieces, Makenzie Steveson and Kella McKneely; and nephew, Cain Steveson; and other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards his children’s savings accounts.
