Glenda Lucille Johnson Glenda Lucille Tuley Johnson was born in Rio Vista, Texas on September 25, 1942, and passed away in her home on September 25th, 2024, in Burleson, Texas. Glenda grew up in Rio Vista, Texas and attended Rio Vista High School where she met the love of her life, Troy Johnson. They married on October 9, 1959. After graduating high school Glenda moved to Colorado with Troy while he served in the army. After 2 years in Colorado, they returned to Texas and resided in Killeen Texas where she gave birth to their first son Terry Johnson. After 7 years she gave birth to their second son Robert Johnson in Cleburne Texas. After Robert was born, they traveled as a family across the US in the old Cruise Air Motor Home. They would spend countless weekends relaxing and tubing at Lake Pat Cleburne. Glenda and Troy loved to go dancing at the Cleburne Elks Lodge. Glenda worked many prestigious jobs, however the one she was most proud of was her loyalty to Alcon Laboratories where she retired as an executive secretary. After retirement Glenda devoted all her time to her grandchildren and later her great-grandson. She was always readily available and would do anything under the sun for anyone of them. Glenda and Troy also loved to travel after retirement. They went on countless trips, however their favorite place to visit was Aruba. Glenda also cherished the moments with her sister-in-law Mildred and would meet for lunch at least once a week over the last couple of years. Glenda was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Glenda loved her family more than anything. Whether it was her husband, sisters, children, grandchildren, or great-grandchild there is nothing she would rather do than just sit around and listen to their stories and laugh and smile. Glenda was preceded in death by her husband Troy V. Johnson, parents Ewell and Irene Tuley, brothers Billy Tuley, Jimmy Tuley, Johny Lee Tuley, sisters Ada Ruth Crecelius and Frances Creamer. Survivors: Sons Terry Johnson and wife Amy of Burleson, Robert Johnson and wife Julie of Burleson, grandchildren Ty Johnson and wife Samantha, Robert Johnson, Jr. and wife Jessica, Chris Johnson and wife Kynzie, Tristian Johnson, and wife Paige; great-grandchild Troy Michael Johnson; sisters Carolyn Smith, Betty Ashlock, and Nora Gray. Glenda will be remembered in our hearts for her kindness, love, and laughter. Glenda will be remembered in our hearts for he r kindness, love, and laughter.
