Obituary
Samuel Gilbert Russo "Gil", age 53, passed away at Lankenau Hospital on February 28, 2023. He was raised in Boothwyn and was a graduate of Chichester High School. Gil had a degree and certificates in Technology and was employed as a Project Manager at Dell Virtuestream. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Glen Mills, PA.
Gil had a love for life and was passionate about skiing, boating, and going to the beach. He was very involved at PNY Sports Arena, where his son plays hockey. Gil also enjoyed playing frisbee golf, eating crabs and anything related to technology. He spent a lot of time in his garage working on projects. He was always building something - he couldn't sit still. Gil loved taking pictures and had a very youthful personality. He was always down for a good time and was a man's man through and through. Most of all Gil just loved being with his family.
Gil is the brother of the late Bernard Russo, and son of the late Bernard and Geraldine (Robertson) Russo.
Survivors: His beloved wife: Tracey Russo, his children: Taylor (Ryan O'Donoghue), Samuel, Nicholas, and Alex, his siblings: Denise DelCorio (Frank) and Joseph (Nicole) and his grandchildren: Irelynn, Payton, and Aubrey. Brother-in-law: Phil Priolo (Tina). Gil is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Thursday March 9, 2023 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA 19014 and March 10, 2023 from 9:30am-11:15am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Rd, Glen Mills, PA 19342. Funeral Mass: March 10, 2023 at 11:30am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Burial: Private. In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made in Gil's name to the Quaker Youth Hockey Org.
