Mrs. Dawn M. Miller, age 41, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Born in Chester, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Deborah Riggs and Stephan Weldon; she attended Chichester High School. She was a member of Brandywine Valley Church, Wilmington, Delaware, she was active in Bible Study and her faith was seen in her daily activities as she fed the homeless and sought to help those in need.
Prior to marriage and children, she had worked in customer service for Walgreens and Amazon. For the last several years, she was a devoted wife and mother and especially valued time spent with her children and family.. She enjoyed anything "frogs" and sunflowers.
In addition to her late father, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Alicia Weldon and Brooke Ann Weldon, and her brothers, Daniel Weldon, Stephen "Nick" Weldon and Kenneth Weldon. Dawn is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Michael J. Miller; her daughters, Autumn Miller and Kayla Nicholson; hers sons, Jayden Weldon, and Alex Nicholson; her mother, Deborah, wife of Edward Heaney; her sisters, Samantha Robinson, Emily Robinson, Cynthia Robinson; her brothers, Todd, husband of Jessica Weldon, Joey Robinson, and Jason, husband of Jenna Weldon; and her nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Brandywine Valley Church, 7 Mount Lebanon Road, Wilmington, Delaware; followed by a memorial services at 11:00 a.m. Following the memorial service, a white peace dove release will be held in the church garden. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Williams Funeral Home and Burial Services.
In lieu of floral gifts, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Dawn's honor to in support of their missions and ministries
