Samuel Zotto

Samuel Zotto, a resident of Fishkill, NY since 1990 and formerly of Westchester County, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. He was 77.

Son of the late Samuel and Rose (Mirra) Zotto, he was born in Peekskill, NY on July 10, 1948. He was an electrical worker for Metro-North Railroad for 34 years, retiring in 2008. Samuel was a devout Born-Again Bible-Believing Christian and attended Calvary Chapel in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was also a lifelong avid New York Mets fan.

Survivors include his brother, Richard Zotto & his wife Elizabeth of Buchanan, NY; his sister, Christina Gioacchini of Peekskill, NY; his niece and nephews: Stephanie Zotto, John Gioacchini & his wife Nicole, Steven Gioacchini, Richard Zotto, Jr., and Jeffrey Gioacchini; his great-nephews and great-niece: Tommy Zotto, Matty Zotto, and Gabby Zotto.

In addition to his parents, Samuel was also predeceased by his brother-in-law, John Gioacchini.

Calling hours will be held from 10:30am to 12:30pm on Monday, December 1 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A funeral service will begin at 12:30pm immediately after the visitation. Interment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY.
