Anne (DiMichele) Zotto, age 94, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Zotto.
Anne was born on July 27, 1928 in Waterbury, CT, daughter of the late Nicola and Concetta (Canale) DiMichele. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School. She enjoyed cooking, baking, song writing, poetry, storytelling and her many inventions. She cherished her time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Anne leaves her daughters, Deborah Caiazzo and her husband, Gerald of Watertown, Claudia Crocetto of Waterbury, Sandra Castico and her husband, Armand of Plantsville and her brother, Gaetano "Don" DiMichele of Oakville. She also leaves her loving grandchildren, Jared Caiazzo and his wife, Kimberly, Kristen Caligiuri and her husband, Vitto, Scott Castico and his wife, Mariah, Jake Castico and his wife, Jocelyn, Kyle Crocetto and his partner, Ruth and great grandchildren, Giavana, Adriana, Sam, Lola, Jaxon, Luke and Liam. She was predeceased by her brother, Nicholas DiMichele.
Anne's family would like to thank the nurses and staff of VITAS for the wonderful care given to their mother.
Arrangements: Anne's funeral will be celebrated on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 9:00 AM from Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
