Obituary of Sandee Hackerson
Sandee Hackerson passed away on August 13, 2024 at the age of 84. She was born on February 6, 1940 in Mishawaka, Indiana.
She lived in Denver, CO for many years, before moving to San Diego, CA, where she worked as Vice President of a loan servicing company. In 2020, she moved to White Bear Lake, MN to be closer to her daughter.
For the past two years, she had been a resident of The Waters of White Bear Lake Retirement Community, with her two cats, Penny and Pearl. The staff there took wonderful care of her and mourned her passing with her family.
Her caring nature touched the lives of everyone around her. She had a remarkable ability to put others before herself and was always there to listen. She will be remembered for her wonderful wit and sense of humor, love of holidays, her volunteer work and love of her family and friends (who were considered part of her family). Her interests were traveling, reading and exercise. In addition to Yoga and walking, Sandee was still attending Bootcamp workout classes in her early 70's.
Sandee is survived by her daughter, Debby Brunette, beloved nieces and nephews: Alan Story, Sharon Davies, Jerry Story, Roger Story, Michael Story, Johnny Long and Judy Long. She is preceded in death by her sisters Beverly, Joan, Betty and brother David.
